Sexual Health + Assault Peer Educators

Request a presentation

SHAPE is a peer education group affiliated with CARE that is survivor-centered, sex-positive, and social justice oriented. We combat rape culture and work to create a culture of healthy sexuality through education, public events, and an open dialogue on sexual health, sex positivity, and sexual assault.

We provide a 40-hour, trauma-informed training for educators accepted through our interview process, and are committed to serving all NU students. We strive to be intersectional in all of our work, and are methodically and actively weaving anti-racism into all of our internal and external work.

What We Do

Presentations
We provide peer-led presentations and workshops to students on sexual health, rape culture, sexual pleasure, healthy relationships and on supporting survivors.

G-Spot
We serve as a resource for individual students looking for accurate information about sexual health and sexual violence. We host the “G-Spot” around campus, where students can come by to ask questions and grab free condom, lube, sex toys and informational pamphlets.
Events
We organize outreach events and collaborate with other student organizations on relevant events.
